At Kluane Mountaineering, everything is custom. You decide the outer fabric, inner fabric, whether you want velcro, or snaps, or hooks. You decide what the hood, cuffs, and flaps look like. You can make your jacket a psychedelic rainbow technicolor adventure. The products and photos on this page are simply examples of our most basic models. When you order your jacket, you can make it as wild or as basic as you like. It’s best to visit the shop, give us a call, or send us an email, while using this page as guidance for the base models.

SLEEPING BAGS

Kluane offers many different sleeping bags, rated from 0C all the way down to -40C. All sleeping bags are custom, just like the jackets are. You decide the colors, the details, the hood dimentsions, the length, which side you want the zipper on, and more.

A sleeping bag is usually the most important (and the most expensive) piece of equipment in your kit. Don’t buy a heavier bag than you need. A sleeping bag designed for -20C will not be comfortable in -2C. Don’t be an equipment freak. Purchase the bag you need, not the bag you wish you needed.
